The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design is an international museum in Chicago known for its 20th-century architecture. Walt began his incredible journey on the house's second floor, which his parents built from scratch. Although his family relocated to Missouri when he was around four or five years old, it all started with a man born in Chicago who would later give birth to a mouse. The house was renovated to its original 1901 condition when Walt was born. The current owners, who are Disney fans, recognize the home's historical importance and have great plans for its future.
