Let your wild things meet the wild things at the Kansas City Zoo. Located in Swope Park, this zoo features five main sections—Africa, Australia, Tiger Trail, KidZone and The Valley—as well as several special exhibitions and attractions, rides and shows. Bring the kids (and adults) out to Deanna Rose Children’s Farmstead to learn about life on a turn-of-the-century farm. This unique zoo contains over 200 animals found on farms throughout the nation, many of which are featured in the Petting Zoo. Gather freshly-laid eggs, milk a cow, bottle-feed a baby goat, ride a pony and more on this fun, interactive and educational farm.
