Chivalry is not dead! At least it's not at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival. You'll feel like you've traveled back in time as you explore a medieval village, with authentic costumes on display, antiquated entertainment, and lots of great food and family fun.

The Kansas Cosmosphere and Space Center allows visitors of all ages to journey from the earth to the moon. Aside from viewing actual spacecraft that make up the multidimensional exhibits and attractions, you can see rocket demonstrations as well as out-of-this-world features in the IMAX theater. Some of the most influential and pioneering figures are spotlighted in the Hall of Space Museum and other astronomically-themed displays. Don't forget to stop by the gift shop to purchase your very own astronaut costume!

Some of the world's best-loved stories are told through the artistry of the Ballet Wichita. Combining classical masterpieces as its soundtrack, such notable productions like Alice in Wonderland, Swan Lake and La Boheme are presented by some of the area's most accomplished performers. Their skills are only accentuated all the more by the stellar musicianship of their accompanying orchestra, the sets and backdrops that help tell the story, and the tireless work of many stage managers, costumers and directors.
