The treasure hunt is on every day at the Museum of World Treasures! Both highly educational and extremely fun, see such famous world treasures as T-Rex's bones, Egyptian mummies, and various artifacts from important points in military history. Chivalry is not dead! At least it's not at the Great Plains Renaissance Festival. Mark your calendars for the second week in October and be there to see knights and fair maidens take over Sedgwick County Park. You'll feel like you've traveled back in time as you explore a medieval village, with authentic costumes on display, antiquated entertainment, and lots of great food and family fun.

How about taking a really close look at the planets and the stars? The kids will love seeing Saturn's rings through the 16-inch telescope at the Lake Afton Public Observatory. Once you go through the whole Solar System, enjoy some great interactive exhibits and attractions in the observatory's museum area. The exhibits will describe what you just saw through that ultra-powerful telescope in greater detail.
