The 1850 House offers the chance to experience the lifestyle of our ancestors of more than 150 years ago. It offers a glimpse of middle- and upper-class life in antebellum New Orleans, the most prosperous period in the city’s history. The Cabildo at Jackson Square, is an elegant Spanish colonial building neighboring St. Louis Cathedral and houses with many rare artifacts of America’s history. At the New Orleans Jazz Museum, you'll be able to see the instruments on which New Orleans’ greatest musicians played to create their landmark sounds—Louis Armstrong’s cornet, Fats Domino’s piano, Sidney Bechet’s soprano sax and more are all on display.

Take a tour of the Haunted Mortuary - if you dare. The mansion was built in 1872 and served as a funeral home for many years, performing over 20,000 funerals. Through extensive investigations with sophisticated EVP technology and tools, it has been proven that the property is haunted. Stop by the Haunted Mortuary, you could be the next visitor to hear something strange, see an apparition or feel the cold presence of something from beyond.

At 400 varieties, you probably couldn't sample all of the beer at Cooter Brown's Tavern but you could try! Watch your favorite team battle it out on one of the 17 flat screens and chow down on some of the best shrimp, oysters and seafood in the city.
