Williams is remembered through writing workshops, panel discussions, literary readings, stage performances, a book fair, music, writing contests and other events incorporating literature, poetry and other art forms - and more importantly, food and drink!

Explore the art at the New Orleans Museum of Art. You'll see masterpieces by some of the world's most famous artists, including Degas, Monet, Matisse, Georgia O'Keeffe, Picasso and many others. With over 40,000 artworks and a sculpture garden, you'll need a whole day to experience the NOMA.

At 400 varieties, you probably couldn't sample all of the beer at Cooter Brown's Tavern but you could try! Watch your favorite team battle it out on one of the 17 flat screens and chow down on some of the best shrimp, oysters and seafood in the city.
