Whether it's talented locals or world class, seasoned performers, they all feel at home when they're performing at the Shreveport Opera. Some of the season's many notable productions include Don Giovanni, La Boheme and Tosca. The entertainment venue is also the site for several book fairs and other fund-raising projects throughout the year in an effort to keep the art of opera alive in Shreveport.

Nearly every performer who steps out on stage dreams of one day finding fame and fortune. The talented men and women who found themselves in the spotlight of the stage at Shreveport's Municipal Auditorium are all honored at the Stage of Stars and Legends Museum. Thousands of photographs, personal effects and memorabilia are all gathered for visitors to see during one of the many daily guided tours. Behind every star there is a story, and you'll hear them all at the Stage of Stars and Legends Museum.

If your schedules and other commitments keep you and your main squeeze from leaving town for a romantic trip, why not journey to the Fairfield Bed and Breakfast? The festival is a partnership between Mudgub Madness, Red River Revel Arts Festival, Eldorado Casino and downtown Shreveport Unlimited. Proceeds benefit additional programs provided by the DSU and the Revel so a good cause benefits from such a fun and highly attended event.
