The Riverway is a parkway that connects the Back Bay Fens and Olmsted Park, making it an important piece of the Emerald Necklace park system. Throughout the park, there are several historic bridges and hiking and walking paths, including the Bridle Path that was used by equestrians to cross the river. The Riverway offers a nice outdoor escape from the hustle and bustle of Brookline Avenue.

Hang out at one of the nation's oldest bars. The Warren Tavern has been serving beer since 1780 and was a favorite watering hole for historical figures like George Washington and Paul Revere. Now days, this nightlife venue doubles as a restaurant that serves up brunch, lunch, and dinner, including favorites like burgers, shepard’s pie, steak, and, of course, New England clam chowder.

Live comedy is the ticket at the ImprovBoston Theatre. Stand-up comedians, improvisational shows, and sketch performances are hosted here five nights a week, providing comedic entertainment to thousands of people annually. If you have an interest in being a performer, ImprovBoston hosts classes for those willing to learn.

Housing over 450,000 works of art, the Museum of Fine Arts Boston boasts one of the most extensive art collections in the country. The museum is one of the largest in America and features a wide variety of art, including French impressionist and post-impressionist works, 18th and 19th century American art, imperial Chinese art, the largest collection of Japanese art outside of Japan, and much more. A few of the renowned artists with works in the collection include Renoir, Monet, Van Gogh, and Degas.
