There are plenty of ways to enjoy recreation at the Noanet Woodlands. The park features over 17 miles of recreation trials that meander through the 600-acre area. As you enjoy activities like hiking, skiing, horseback riding, and biking, you'll see a variety of birds like hawks and warblers, animals like bullfrogs and turtles, and a large amount of wildflowers, including marigolds and pink lady's slipper.
Imagination and education go hand-in-hand at the Boston Children's Museum. The museum is the second oldest children's museum in the nation, housing exhibits that explain science, nature, art, history and more. A few of the engaging exhibitions include Kid Power, Science Playground, Global Gallery, and Countdown to Kindergarten.
Opera, dance, theater, music and more light up the stage of the Cutler Majestic Theatre. The entertainment facility features productions of its own and those of touring companies as well. The works presented here are meant to be thought provoking and stretch communication, art and culture beyond the social norms.
