Enjoy a performance by the talented actors at the American Repertory Theater. The theater has garnered many accolades since being founded in 1980, including a Tony Award and a Pulitzer Prize. Most of A.R.T's shows are American plays and musicals or new takes on classic stories, along with some provocative programming that's known to push the envelope. Explore an important piece of our naval history at the USS Constitution Museum. Interactive galleries, exhibits and attractions tell the story of the undefeated, centuries old USS Constitution. Some exhibits include All Hands on Deck: A Sailor's Life in 1812, and Old Ironsides in War and Peace.

Hang out at the Blue Hills Reservation for some outdoor sports and recreation fun. The reservation isn't too far from downtown Boston, and offers a variety of invigorating activities, including camping, fishing, non-motorized boating, hiking, rock climbing, softball, and swimming. There's also ice skating and skiing during the winter months.

The Charles River Esplanade stretches along three miles of the beautiful Charles River and surrounding attractions. This spot is perfect for relaxating outdoors and enjoying a picnic, fishing, taking a gondola ride, or just sprawling out on a blanket and watching the river roll by. There are also several scheduled events here like fitness classes and festivals.
