The towers are each named for one of the principal Nazi death camps and are etched with six million numbers to symbolize the Holocaust victims' tattooed numbers and ledgers of the Nazi authority. Since 1995, the New England Holocaust Memorial has presented its visitors with a place to reflect on their freedoms and the importance of human rights.
