The Riverway is a parkway that connects the Back Bay Fens and Olmsted Park, making it an important piece of the Emerald Necklace park system. Throughout the park, there are several historic bridges and hiking and walking paths, including the Bridle Path that was used by equestrians to cross the river. The Riverway offers a nice outdoor escape from the hustle and bustle of Brookline Avenue.

Journey to the center of the Earth at Boston's Mapparium, a large attraction housed at the Mary Baker Eddy Library. The Mapparium is a three-story, painted-glass dome with a glass bridge stretching across the “globe”, allowing visitors to stand in the middle of the Earth. The lovely structure is illuminated with LED lights during the presentation of A World Of Ideas, which is basically an exhibition global history.

Head into battle on the field at Boston Paintball. Recreational warfare at its finest takes place here on the indoor and outdoor fields. Professional or novice paintballers are welcome; there's also a pro shop on site so you can stock up on all your paintball needs.
