Listen to the lovely ladies of the Pride of Baltimore Chorus put on a performance of the highest possible level. This 110 member all-female, a cappella chorus has members from five different states, and serves as a chapter of the Sweet Adelines International, the world´s largest women´s singing organization. Discover the world from under the sea at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Built to inspire visitors to celebrate and nurture the world´s aquatic habitats, from tropical rain forests to coral reefs, this public aquarium contains three buildings worth of fascinating creatures and family fun. Among major attractions are the dolphin display, central ray pool, multiple-story shark tank and the rooftop rainforest.

One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.

The Appalachian Trail travels from Maine to Georgia. The 40 miles of the recreational trail in Maryland crawl along the backbone of South Mountain, and are perfect for 3-4 day hiking and camping trips. Popular day hikes along the Appalachian Trail include Annapolis rock, Washington Monument, and Weverton Cliffs.
