Watch a performance by Maryland’s state theater. CENTERSTAGE is Baltimore’s largest professional producing theater, putting on a half dozen classic and contemporary plays in their seasonal series as well as a cabaret series, a play lab series, and specials by The Second City. When you visit the Baltimore Art Museum, be sure to stop by the Wurtzburger Sculpture Gardens. Located outside of the museum, this sculpture garden contains gargantuan masterpieces of modern and contemporary sculpture scattered across the verdant landscape. This meeting of art, horticulture, and the great outdoors presents 34 sculptures from various artists, created throughout the past 100 years.

The Appalachian Trail travels from Maine to Georgia. The 40 miles of the recreational trail in Maryland crawl along the backbone of South Mountain, and are perfect for 3-4 day hiking and camping trips.
