Shed some light on the dark and mysterious American gothic writer when you visit the Edgar Allan Poe House & Museum. Famous for his haunting poetry and short stories, Poe began his life in this two-and-a-half story duplex. The home has been converted to represent and reflect the life of Poe and contains materials owned by Poe such as his writing desk, on public display. Fans of literature will appreciate this attraction.

When you visit the Baltimore Art Museum, be sure to stop by the Wurtzburger Sculpture Gardens. This meeting of art, horticulture, and the great outdoors presents 34 sculptures from various artists, created throughout the past 100 years.

Head over to Charles Village for the 32nd Street Farmers Market. Every Saturday from 7:00AM to 12:00 noon, you can purchase fresh, locally grown fruits and vegetables as well as a variety of other produce, meat, bread, baked goods, pre-made foods, fresh flowers and live plant selections.
