Maryland Film Festival
During the first weekend of each May, spend four days watching top-notch film and video work from all over the world at the Maryland Film Festival. Hundreds of filmmakers attend the screenings of the approximately 50 feature films and 75 short films. Enjoy every type of film: narrative, documentary, animation, experimental, hybrid and others. You may possibly meet celebrity guests as well.
Maryland Science Center
One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.
Baltimore Comedy Factory
See some of your favorite comedians at the Baltimore Comedy Factory. Laugh until your sides hurt to the comedic stylings of local rising stars or national big fish, such as Carlos Mencia, Patrice O´Neal, Kenny Zimlinghaus and more! Maryland Zoo
Let your wild side roam free at the Maryland Zoo. Located in Druid Hill Park, this zoo first opened its doors to the wild things in 1876.
