One of the oldest scientific institutions in the nation, the Maryland Science Center has undergone quite a few changes since its inception in 1797. The most recent renovation in 2004 expanded the facility and added new exhibitions on all levels. In addition to the exhibits, the Science Center also houses a planetarium, observatory, and an IMAX theater.

Discover the world from under the sea at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. Built to inspire visitors to celebrate and nurture the world´s aquatic habitats, from tropical rain forests to coral reefs, this public aquarium contains three buildings worth of fascinating creatures and family fun. Visit the Inner Harbor for a fun time. This historic seaport serves as an iconic landmark and a major tourist attraction.
