Despite its name, Café D’Mongo’s Speakeasy is not a true speakeasy. However, the rich furnishings and dim lighting certainly lend a speakeasy mood to this popular bar. Inside of the awe-inspiring Fisher Building, you’ll find the elaborate Fisher Theatre. This 2,089-seat theater reflects the Art Deco style of the landmark skyscraper with its classic mid-century design. One of Detroit’s oldest live entertainment venues, this historical landmark is still going strong. In fact, it is one of the best places to see a touring Broadway production in the city!
