Less than half an hour away from Detroit, you’ll find Livonia’s Rotary Park. Although only a small, one-acre park, this little green gem is a great place for those looking to stretch their legs outdoors. Walk along the lovely, wooded trails that pass by some River Rouge tributaries, head to the baseball field and tennis courts or bring your dog out for some fresh air.

The nation’s first and only graduate repertory theater, the Hilberry Theatre gives its audience a unique theatrical experience. See a mixture of six classic and modern plays in the cozy yet stylish open-stage theater, performed by the specially selected company of 40-45 graduate students working with a team of professional staff.

The most popular park in Detroit, the gigantic Belle Isle Park is actually an entire island. Wonderful for people of all ages and activity levels, this island park has something for everybody.
