The historic Redford Theatre has provided entertainment to Michiganders since 1928. This attractive albeit unusual suburban playhouse draws in thousands of visitors from all over the state during its classic movie showings. Motown is renowned for its contributions to the music industry. Presented by the Motor City Music Foundation, the Detroit Music Awards recognize and honor Detroit area musicians during a multi-genre award ceremony hosted at the Fillmore Detroit.
