The nation’s first and only graduate repertory theater, the Hilberry Theatre gives its audience a unique theatrical experience. See a mixture of six classic and modern plays in the cozy yet stylish open-stage theater, performed by the specially selected company of 40-45 graduate students working with a team of professional staff.

Just north of the city limit, the Detroit Zoo offers guests an up-close animal adventure. Observe more than 270 different species in naturalistic habitats and learn fun and fascinating facts as you explore the attractions throughout seven major exhibits: Arctic Ring of Life, Australian Outback Adventure, Great Apes of Harambee, National Amphibian Conservation Center, Holden Museum of Living Reptiles, Penguinarium and Butterfly Garden!

Dispel any misconceptions you may have about Arab Americans and other minorities at the Arab American National Museum. The first and only museum in the country dedicated to Arab American culture and history, this center was created to enhance knowledge about this community.
