This specialty recreation gym contains a unique terrain with almost 100 taped routes along its hundreds of square feet of indoor climbing surfaces. Welcoming both novices and experts, Planet Rock is a great place to get the thrill of scaling the side of a cliff with plenty of safety.

Enjoy live music at the Majestic Theatre, one of Detroit’s most popular historical landmarks and entertainment venues. This striking Art Deco building has been around since 1915, when it was one of the largest movie theaters in the world. Nowadays, the Majestic is separated into three distinct areas–the Majestic, the Majestic Cafe, and the Magic Stick – all of which host popular musical acts.

Pay a visit to the Belle Isle Conservancy, the program responsible for the impeccable maintenance of the park ground from the closed Belle Isle Aquarium to the Anna Scripps Whitcomb Conservatory and other attractions. Thanks to BIBS staff and volunteers, the Conservatory, gardens and greenhouses in the sprawling Belle Isle Park are a delightful sight to behold.
