The beautiful Gem & Century Theatres are a popular destination for private events, weddings and, of course, theatrical performances and entertainment. This large building houses two theaters, a delicious restaurant and a luxurious lobby. The two-level Gem Theatre features traditional row and aisle seating as well as stage-level cabaret tables. The smaller, more intimate Century Theatre provides a delightful cabaret atmosphere.

Drive out to Taylor for a fun day at the Heritage Park Petting Farm, where guests young and old alike can have fun meeting the friendly, domesticated animals. Head inside the big red barn to interact with all sorts of barnyard life, from goats and ponies to piglets and alpacas. Or, stroll over to the nature pond where you can admire koi fish, frogs and turtles (but don’t pet the wildlife!).

The most popular park in Detroit, the gigantic Belle Isle Park is actually an entire island. Wonderful for people of all ages and activity levels, this island park has something for everybody. Visit the Dossin Great Lakes Museum; go swimming at the beach; hike along the lovely wooded trails; plan a pleasant picnic outdoors; and much, much more!

Enjoy the outdoors and a lovely scenic view of the Detroit International Riverfront as you stroll, jog or bike along the Detroit River Walk. This paved pathway essentially consists of a 5.5-mile promenade that runs from the Ambassador Bridge to Belle Isle Park. Stop along one of the plaza or pavilions for some fun at the carousel, butterfly garden or fishing piers.
