Listen to a delightful performance by the Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, America’s only full-time professional chamber orchestra. One of the finest in the world, this versatile chamber orchestra presents over 130 concerts and educational events annually. You may also have a chance to catch the orchestra in other cities since the world-renown SPCO tours both nationally and internationally.

Make your way to Harriet Island during August to witness the greenest weekend in Saint Paul at the Irish Fair of Minnesota. Just like St. Patrick’s Day, this fair brings out the Irish in everyone. Come by for music, food, drink and workshops—all designed to share the Irish culture. The proceeds of this festival benefit the new (non-Irish) immigrant projects and other Irish cultural activities throughout the year.

Learn about the mobster history in Saint Paul at Wabasha Street Caves. These Gangster Tours take you around the man-made sandstone caves in the Saint Paul area. Dressed up and in-character guides share information about the use of the caves in the 1920s, such as the Wabasha Street Speakeasy. Often frequented by gangsters like John Dillinger, these historical caves are also rumored to be haunted.
