This museum and library house the largest amount of materials regarding the state’s past. Get your fill of sports action while watching the Minnesota Vikings raid the football field as they tackle their opponents and score touchdowns. Learn some history as you enjoy nature and outdoor activities at Indian Mounds Park. The public park marks the site of six prehistoric Native American burial mounds—the last remaining six in the Saint Paul area. There were an estimated 18-37 mounds in the city, but these were lost to city development.
