View the Minnesota Historical Society’s collection of art, archaeological artifacts, documents, books and other attractions at the Minnesota History Center. This museum and library house the largest amount of materials regarding the state’s past. Learn about the history of Minnesota, or simply stop by for one of the many performances or other special events hosted in this large facility.

Located in the Mall of America, Nickelodeon Universe offers a variety of entertainment based on your favorite Nickelodeon shows and characters. Go head over heels at attractions like the Spongebob Squarepants Rock Bottom Plunge, let your rugrats race in the Raptormobiles or challenge yourself on the Flying Dutchman Ghostly Gangplank Ropes and Adventure Course, the highest Sky Trail in the world.

Saint Paul’s oldest surviving theater, the Fitzgerald Theater has been around since 1910. Once famous for screening foreign films, nowadays Minnesota Public Radio owns the Fitz. You may be familiar with their most popular show, A Prairie Home Companion, which is heard all over the nation. In addition to this radio show, the Fitz hosts all sorts of Broadway musicals, vaudeville shows, film festivals, concerts, and other entertainment.

Learn some history as you enjoy nature and outdoor activities at Indian Mounds Park. The public park marks the site of six prehistoric Native American burial mounds—the last remaining six in the Saint Paul area. There were an estimated 18-37 mounds in the city, but these were lost to city development.
