Hidden in the four-acres beside the zoo, Como Town is a lesser-known attraction in Como Park but an excellent one for children between the ages 2 and 12. This amusement park offers rides such as a carousel, bumper cars, a Tilt-A-Whirl and more! In addition to the rides and Splash Zone, Como Town offers carnival games, puppet shows and other family-fun.
Fans of model railroads will not want to miss the Twin City Model Railroad Museum, home of the world famous O-Scale exhibit. Thousands of volunteer hours have been dedicated to faithfully reproducing the entire Twin Cities’ railroad system from the 1930s-1950s in O-Scale. In addition to this impressive model, the museum hosts other traveling exhibits, a toy train division and other special events.
