More than 300 international and independent films are screened during this festival, many of which simultaneously make their first and final Missouri theatrical appearances.

If you love Broadway and outdoor theater, the Muny Theater provides the perfect marriage of the two. The oldest outdoor musical theater in America, Muny Theater grew from a simple clearing between two trees into a gigantic, state-of-the-art amphitheater which hosts an average of seven plays each season.

Missouri has over 6,000 caves, but the Meramec Caverns are the largest commercial caverns in the state. According to legend, Jesse James used these caves as a hideout during the 1870s. Located only an hour away from the Gateway Arch, these caves are considered St. Louis's "Buried Treasure."
