ImaginOn celebrates the arts in quite a unique way. This facility is geared toward infusing young minds with the wonder and possibilities of artistic expression through various exhibits and attractions. This goal is achieved to great effect thanks to the collaboration between various organizations affiliated with area libraries and theaters and together, they offer some highly thought-provoking activities that enable kids to learn about the arts. Some of these projects include teen programs, theater performances, technology classes and lots more.

There's no excuse to not have all of your Christmas decorations in place this year thanks to the Southern Christmas Show that is held at the Park Expo and Conference Center. Every year, over 120,000 visitors walk through the doors looking for great decorating ideas for the holidays, and they find several at every turn! There are over 600 booths that offer an incredible variety of decorations, trees, ornaments, and lots more. This event has been voted the number one Christmas show in the nation, and when you experience all the activities and fun, it'll be easy to see why. .

The US National Whitewater Center gives you that much-needed shot of adrenaline with their variety of outdoor adventures and attractions like rafting, kayaking, and paddling. If you prefer to stay dry, there's more outdoor adventures available like rock climbing, mountain biking and climbing your way around various rope courses. The Belk Theater is the busiest venue located within the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center, as the Belk welcomes various types of artists and entertainment from all over the world to its stage. Their appearances put smiles on the faces of the numerous audience members who have come to expect the best from the Belk. The Charlotte Repertory Theatre and the North Carolina Dance Theatre occupy a space on the performance schedule every year. Other groups that also take the stage here include the Carolina Voices and various productions from the Carolinas Concert Association, all of which perform under the theater's wondrous 2,400 lights that are custom built right into its ceiling.
