The North Carolina State Fair attracts an impressive 800,000 people every year, making it the largest annual event in North Carolina. Over the course of the 11-day festival, arts, agriculture, cultural exhibits and an amusement fairway all offer something fun to do and see every minute that you are there. A few quiet, reflective minutes inside the Saint Augustine's College Historic Chapel will give your time in Raleigh a deep, spiritual imprint that you won't ever forget. Built with the patronage of the Episcopal Church's Freedman's Bureau in 1895, it has the honor of being the oldest building on the Saint Augustine's College campus.

The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences gathers some of the most dramatic examples of nature's artwork and presents the wonder and mystique of the various exhibits in a way that will entertain and educate the whole family.

The artists of tomorrow are here today at Gallery C. The clean, spacious presentation harkens back to a scene reminiscent of some of the best known galleries in New York and Los Angeles, but the artwork and the individuals who created them are uniquely Raleigh in so many ways.
