Built with the patronage of the Episcopal Church's Freedman's Bureau in 1895, it has the honor of being the oldest building on the Saint Augustine's College campus.
The North Carolina State Fair attracts an impressive 800,000 people every year, making it the largest annual event in North Carolina.
