Since 1922, this symphony orchestra has had headquarters in Newark, drawing in some of the country’s finest musicians to this city.
Hike along part of the Lenape Trail, a 34-mile trail extending from Newark’s Military Park to west of the Passaic River. This unique recreation trail links dozens of other parks, rail trails and historical landmarks throughout Essex County. One of the most popular sections includes the path in Brook Branch Park lined by gorgeous cherry blossom trees.
