The Grammy Award-winning New Jersey Symphony Orchestra can most often be found playing in the NJPAC, when not touring the rest of New Jersey and other states to showcase their nationally recognized talents. Since 1922, this symphony orchestra has had headquarters in Newark, drawing in some of the country’s finest musicians to this city.

Although the New York Red Bulls may represent the Big Apple, you’ll find their home arena in the Garden State. Come by the Red Bull Arena to see this sports team face their competitors head-on. A charter club of the Major League Soccer’s Eastern Conference, the Red Bulls do not have the best domestic record–even though they were the first MLS team to win a trophy outside of North America.

Built and staffed by the NJ Youth Corps, the Jersey Explorer Children’s Museum allows children to “live” history and “play” science through a variety of excellent interactive exhibitions and attractions.
