The East Coast Greenway, or ECG, spans almost 3,000-miles along the Atlantic coast, linking several major cities with its urban path. The section that runs through New Jersey is 97 miles long and encompasses many major metro areas like Newark and Jersey City. Give family time a slightly competitive edge at Pole Position Raceway, an indoor go-kart racing attraction in Jersey City. This huge indoor track features two quarter-mile tracks and adult karts that can go all the way up to 45 mph. Kid’s karts, of course, are also available.
