The New Mexico Wild is a nonprofit organization that aims to protect, restore, and preserve New Mexico's wildlands and wilderness areas. Established in 1997, the organization achieves its mission through administrative protection, federal wilderness designation, and ongoing stewardship. The New Mexico Wild is the only statewide organization in New Mexico whose track record proves its capability of building diverse coalitions and protecting public lands.
