Vegas Theatre Company is a group of five theatre program graduates from the University of Nevada who aim to provide compelling theatrical productions that showcase shared human experience, awaken senses about the world, and develop art forms and artists. Their stories unite people, and they strive to become an entirely professional regional theatre in an innovative and adaptable venue in the heart of Vegas, specifically the Art Square Theatre. They aim to collaborate with local creators and artists to create theatrical productions that appeal to a broader audience. They also aim to develop a robust outreach program throughout Nevada that focuses on Nevada's youth and underserved populations.

Situated about 15 miles west of the city in the easternmost part of the Mojave Desert, this area is home to the Keystone Thrust, also known as Wilson Cliffs, a massive red rock formation with sandstone peaks and walls that can reach 3,000 feet high. It's an ideal destination for outdoor activities such as hiking, rock climbing, bicycling, and camping. Red Rock Canyon offers a 13-mile, one-way, scenic drive with plenty of options for hiking and trails and opportunities to learn about plants and wildlife, geology, camping, cultural resources, and more.
