Reno Open Studios offers a unique opportunity to tour local artists' studios to watch them create their different work using different mediums. See examples of painting, printmaking, pottery, weaving and jewelry making and maybe even try your hand at creating a masterpiece of your own. This tour also includes a visit to the Nevada Museum of Art.

Since 1992, Q's Billiard Club has been racking 'em up as Reno's coolest pool room. It holds the distinction of being Northern Nevada's only pool room with a bar and grille inside, and that means that you won't miss a minute of table action since your munchies and drinks are close at hand. And speaking of drinks, Q's features one of the most famously stocked bars in town. So grab your cue and head to Q's!

Reno's downtown area is rife with historic buildings and architecture; to enjoy it while staying relatively cool, take a walk along the historic The River Walk District. The walkway winds through downtown and is not only scenic in its own right, it highlights the whole downtown area giving it an added touch of natural beauty amid the busy commercial landscape.
