Artpark accomplishes the formidable task of combining art with nature. The project is one that succeeds brilliantly. The structure dates back to 1901 and is augmented by not only a classic architectural design but a majestic tower and equally intriguing interior court. While the structure once served as the city's post office, it now is home to the Erie Community College. Despite that fact, the Old Post Office still retains a high level of vintage charm that makes it an attraction that's well worth a visit.

Bar-Bill Tavern is the perfect nightlife destination to meet your friends and unwind over a frosty mug of beer and a nice, tasty sandwich. This rustic but appealing bar is housed in a timber-framed building and is made even more appealing by the friendly staff and equally amiable patrons. Lots of great eats are on the menu that include beef on weck, a slow-roasted beef that will melt in your mouth. Also, don't forget to order the excellent buffalo wings that are offered in a variety of flavors that include Sicilian, barbecue and, if you dare, suicidal!

Niagara Gorge Discovery Center captures the essence and impressively tells the story of the Niagara Gorge. The fact that the area's history dates back 453 million years is staggering, but the museum does a highly impressive job of communicating this sweeping span of history in a fun and entertaining way. There are several interesting exhibits as well as larger-than-life presentations that can be viewed in an impressive multi-screen theater.
