Up, up and away on a tour that is truly uplifting! Experience the one-of-a-kind thrill of riding in a hot air balloon when you experience Balloons Over Letchworth. The Letchworth runs 17 miles and features 20 waterfalls as well as 600 feet of awe-inspiring gorges that you will glide over in your hot air balloon ride. This rustic landscape was once home to the Seneca Indians. The ride also includes the Upper Falls, which are 70 feet high and are truly captivating, especially when viewed from a hot air balloon. For safety reasons, no children under 12 are permitted to take the tour.

Every summer, thousands of hungry guests wait for the doors to open to the Taste of Buffalo. This annual event held in mid-July allows various vendors, restaurants, caterers and other food-related businesses to show off their wares in the forms of free samples, cooking demonstrations, and other types of exhibits. Over 50 restaurants, 7 wineries and many others gather for what is the largest two-day food festival in the United States. There are several excellent cover bands that grace the stage as well, so there's always a great chance for you to sing along! A well-stocked bar is another outstanding feature of this nightlife venue, as well as a great menu that features standard but tasty choices like quesadillas, nachos and chicken fingers. Artpark accomplishes the formidable task of combining art with nature. The project is one that succeeds brilliantly. As for the art portion of the equation, there are several outdoor events scheduled at the park throughout the year that include concerts, recitals and various other presentations that celebrate the many types of performing arts. But also, Artpark is a haven for nature lovers as visitors can enjoy hiking and walking, biking, fishing, and picnicking. There are large sculptures along the walking trail as well as an 1,800-year-old burial mound to take in as you walk through the trails. There are also several opportunities for birding, as several feathered species make their home here.
