Delaware Park is a favorite of Buffalo residents for many reasons, not the least of which is the fact that it bears a resemblance to New York City's Central Park. The reason for that is because landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, who designed that park for the Big Apple, also designed Delaware Park. Olmsted said that his formula for a great park always had to include water, woods and meadows, and all three are distinctly present at Delaware Park. This is an ideal place to bring the family for a day of fun outdoors that includes walking, jogging, playing tennis or golf, or just enjoying a picnic in one of the park's many expansive areas.

One of the city's most triumphant fixtures on the landscape is the Niagara Mohawk Building. The structure's classic design only makes this 294-foot tall skyscraper even more awe-inspiring. Built in 1912, it is still considered to be one of Buffalo's most beautiful sights. Among the attraction's many notable points, the glazed terracotta tower and regal design makes it even more striking when it is lit up among Buffalo's evening skyline.

Buffalo resident Darwin D. Martin had the distinction of having his home designed by one of the world's most iconic architects, Frank Lloyd Wright. This truly unique structure, known as Graycliff, is situated on eight acres of woodland and cliffs and is regularly open for visitors who want to tour the home from the inside out. Wright's signature symmetrical artistic design is featured in various forms throughout Graycliff that both fans of modern art and architecture will surely appreciate.
