Buffalo's National Buffalo Wing Festival is held every September at Coca-Cola Field. Once you're in, you can not only tour the stadium but also treat your taste buds to some of the most delectable buffalo wings you've ever tasted! Wing lovers come from all over the country (and even the world) to celebrate the art of the buffalo wing. The event is held every Labor Day weekend and not only features the best wings in the world, but an equally staggering selection of beer and other delicious treats. Plus, there's great live music, events for the kids in the kids zone and even a nearby RV park for people who make the pilgrimage by way of the road. Lots of great fun, lots of incredible wings, and, to be sure, lots of napkins for everyone!

While many people see the Erie Canal from a distance, getting a closer look will reveal how this body of water works to further the area's economy. The canal is actually quite interesting, and you can learn more about it when you take the Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruise. Your tour guide will be quite informative from start to finish, describing how Lockport is known for the area's water "locks" that run approximately 50 feet. When you cruise through the canal on this tour, you'll actually go through the "locks" and see for yourself how these locks are used to move traffic along the river and its uniquely elevated terrain. For some of the finest musical performances you'll ever see and hear, you only have to go as far as Buffalo's Kleinhans Music Hall. Built in 1940, this iconic entertainment venue features incredible acoustics and a classic yet inviting atmosphere. The hall is also the home of the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as the site of various seasonal plays, operas and ballets. So if you are in the mood to broaden your cultural outlook and be pleasantly surprised at the variety of performances you can take in, the Kleinhans Music Hall is most definitely the place to discover it all.

Music takes center stage at the Tralf Music Hall. Mingle with the laid-back crowd as you enjoy various acts who perform music from all genres, including jazz, rock and folk. There are several excellent cover bands that grace the stage as well, so there's always a great chance for you to sing along! A well-stocked bar is another outstanding feature of this nightlife venue, as well as a great menu that features standard but tasty choices like quesadillas, nachos and chicken fingers.
