One of the great things about playing the kazoo is that your enthusiasm for creating music is more important than the actual amount of talent you possess. Maybe that's why everyone who visits the Original American Kazoo Company Museum can't help but smile widely as they tour the facility to see how the instrument is actually made. This is the only original metal kazoo factory in the world, and not only can you watch the kazoos being constructed but you actually have an opportunity to make your own. Plus, don't miss the incredibly fun selection of kazoos in all sizes and colors as well as other fun items available in the gift shop.

If you visit during the summer, there are various special events that are on the schedule, with a musket firing demonstration being one of the most popular.
The Beaver Meadow Audubon Center was designed to offer Buffalo's many city-dwellers a great opportunity to get close to nature. This 324-acre wildlife sanctuary includes a forest, a field and wetland areas that are all just a short drive from downtown. In addition to the natural settings, the trail on site stretches for eight miles and the adjacent beach offers still yet another scene in which to absorb some natural beauty. Even during the winter, the center is still open as it offers more outdoor fun in the form of snowshoeing and cross country skiing.
