Old Fort Niagara offers you the unique opportunity to connect nature to history. You will be transported to a world where nature is the focal point in an 1890s tri-domed Victorian glass conservatory on the grounds of South Park. The staff members are knowledgeable and helpful, and the kids will enjoy seeing all the different types of plant life and flowers, too. In all, the garden offers an excellent day of family fun through its floral attractions.

Nearly everyone is charmed and captivated when they see an old fashioned carousel. Buffalo's Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum offers visitors a chance to dig a little deeper into the history and construction of this time-honored attraction. The venue has the distinction of being the only one of its kind in America, and the whole family will love learning about how carrousels are made from start to finish. Various artifacts include a merry-go-round that dates back to 1916, vintage park rides, organs, and woodcarvings. And, instead of enjoying all of these tremendous works of art from a distance, you're highly encouraged to hop on and take a ride, which will add an even greater level of fun to your visit!

Bar-Bill Tavern is the perfect nightlife destination to meet your friends and unwind over a frosty mug of beer and a nice, tasty sandwich. This rustic but appealing bar is housed in a timber-framed building and is made even more appealing by the friendly staff and equally amiable patrons. Lots of great eats are on the menu that include beef on weck, a slow-roasted beef that will melt in your mouth. Also, don't forget to order the excellent buffalo wings that are offered in a variety of flavors that include Sicilian, barbecue and, if you dare, suicidal!
