There's nothing like an excellent cigar after a good meal, or anytime really. In Buffalo, the place to find exotic cigars and cigar accessories is a great little store called the Tinder Box. This is no ordinary cigar shop, as the staff knows that choosing the perfect cigar should be just as relaxing as enjoying one. That's why there are several large, leather chairs in the store, as well as a large television and coffee and soft drinks available, too. There are plenty of hockey fans in Buffalo, and with good reason. They get behind their team, the Buffalo Sabres, as the team is consistently one of the top drawing cards during the NHL season that runs from September through April. The sports team plays its home games in the HBSC Arena in downtown Buffalo.

Every summer, thousands of hungry guests wait for the doors to open to the Taste of Buffalo. This annual event held in mid-July allows various vendors, restaurants, caterers and other food-related businesses to show off their wares in the forms of free samples, cooking demonstrations, and other types of exhibits. Over 50 restaurants, 7 wineries and many others gather for what is the largest two-day food festival in the United States. Last year's attendance topped a staggering 450,000 guests, so get your fork and napkin and get set for a delicious Taste of Buffalo.
