Every summer, thousands of hungry guests wait for the doors to open to the Taste of Buffalo. This annual event held in mid-July allows various vendors, restaurants, caterers and other food-related businesses to show off their wares in the forms of free samples, cooking demonstrations, and other types of exhibits. Over 50 restaurants, 7 wineries and many others gather for what is the largest two-day food festival in the United States. Last year's attendance topped a staggering 450,000 guests, so get your fork and napkin and get set for a delicious Taste of Buffalo.

At the Irish Classical Theatre Company, its original tradition of excellence is still very much alive. The Buffalo Zoo offers a collection of various species of some of the world's most amazing animals, all presented in their natural habitats. As it is one of the country's oldest zoos, it's also one of the most extensive. Species from all over the globe are represented in the exhibits and attractions here, including pandas, polar bears, Indian rhinos and lots more. Also, don't miss the incredible collection of birds and reptiles as well as the excellent Children's Petting Zoo and the delicious snacks that await at the popular "Beastro."

Buffalo resident Darwin D. Martin had the distinction of having his home designed by one of the world's most iconic architects, Frank Lloyd Wright. This truly unique structure, known as Graycliff, is situated on eight acres of woodland and cliffs and is regularly open for visitors who want to tour the home from the inside out. Wright's signature symmetrical artistic design is featured in various forms throughout Graycliff that both fans of modern art and architecture will surely appreciate. Reservations for your tour is required. Children under 10 are not permitted.
