You may have seen the famous Chrysler Building in some of its small-screen and silver-screen appearances like the Saturday Night Live Coneheads skit, the Futurama cartoon, and movies like Deep Impact, Godzilla, Armageddon, Fantastic Four, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence and Spiderman, among others. The building, completed in 1930, is considered to be one of the finest buildings in New York City and was recently ranked ninth on the List of America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects.
