The Nicholas Roerich Museum is dedicated to the works of Russian-born artist, Nicholas Roerich. His work focused on nature scenes from the Himalayas and there are rumored to be thousands of Roerich paintings around the world. His paintings explore the "mythic origins, the natural beauty, and the spiritual strivings of humanity and of the world." The museum is home to between 100 and 200 of Roerich's paintings as well as a collection of archival materials. People from all around the world visit New York to see the work of Roerich.

New Jersey Nets New Jersey Nets

The New Jersey Nets is a professional basketball team that plays in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference in the NBA. The team has been to the NBA playoffs twice but lost both times, in 2002 to the Los Angeles Lakers and in 2003 to the San Antonio Spurs. The Nets currently play in the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey but are anticipating a relocation to Brooklyn, NYC once the new Barclays Center is complete.

The theater was completed in 1928, hosting its first production on December 20th, The Kingdom of God starring Barrymore.
