The Queens Historical Society was founded in 1968 and is the only museum about Queens' history within the borough. The society's main project is the preservation of history and designation of the borough's landmarks. Through educational programs, exhibitions, lectures, newsletters and presentations relating to Queens, the society covers all chapters of the borough's history for its community and visitors.

S.O.B's is one of the city's most popular music and nightlife venues, and has been active on the party scene since 1982. Known as the "Home of Universal Music," the live entertainment venue has hosted performances of music from all genres, from Latin to Caribbean, Haitian, hip-hop, R&B and more. A few famous faces who've graced the stage include Damien Marley, Common, Kanye West, Drake, Erykah Badu and John Legend.

Take a stroll through one of the premier botanical gardens in the nation at The New York Botanical Garden. This gorgeous floral attraction occupies approximately 250 acres of Bronx Park and is home to 50 different gardens and plant collections, and some of the world's leading plant laboratories. Tour the NYBG and see why over 800,000 visitors come to the garden annually.

You may have seen the famous Chrysler Building in some of its small-screen and silver-screen appearances like the Saturday Night Live Coneheads skit, the Futurama cartoon, and movies like Deep Impact, Godzilla, Armageddon, Fantastic Four, A.I.: Artificial Intelligence and Spiderman, among others. But these cameos don't show this building true justice, and nothing compares to seeing the historic Chrysler Building up-close. The building, completed in 1930, is considered to be one of the finest buildings in New York City and was recently ranked ninth on the List of America's Favorite Architecture by the American Institute of Architects.
