Central Park Sightseeing
Our horseback riding tour is an unique, adventurous way to take in the sights of the stunning Central Park. Ride down the bridle trail with your equine companion and take in the beautiful nature, historical monuments, and famous park sights. We offer 1 hour trail rides through Central Park, 10 minute pony rides around Tavern on the Green, 15-20 and 45-50 minute carriage rides through Central Park, and pony parties at our barn in Hell’s Kitchen. In fact, the barn that houses our horses is over 100 years old and is the oldest operating equestrian facility in New York City. Our trail rides are for all levels. They start at Tavern on the Green and travel along the historic Central Park Bridle Path to the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. Our friendly guides are incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the park and our horses. The carriage rides meet along Central Park South. Carriage riders may choose to go for a carriage ride that finishes at Tavern on the Green where they may dine afterwards. Guests have also used our carriage rides as a an unique proposal opportunity and we love working with them to ensure the moment is absolutely perfect. Our trial rides and carriage rides are year round, seven days a week, weather permitting. Pony rides and parties begin March 2018.
