The Metropolitan Museum of Art, or "The Met" is located on the east side of Central Park along Museum Mile in NYC. The museum is home to more than two million works of art, divided among 19 curatorial departments. The permanent collection includes pieces from classical antiquity and Ancient Egypt, paintings and sculptures from many of the European masters and a vast collection of American and modern art. Other holdings at the museum are encyclopedic collections of musical instruments, costumes and accessories and antique weapons and armor from around the world. Different styles of interiors, ranging from 1st century Rome to modern American design, are permanent fixtures at the Met.

Another of New York City's floral oases, Wave Hill is a 28-acre estate in the Bronx committed to celebrating the artistry and legacy of its gardens and landscapes and exploring human connection to the natural world. The estate includes a public garden, greenhouse and cultural center. As you explore the attractions throughout area, you'll see a perennial flower garden, the Marco Polo Stufano Conservatory, pergola and vistas of the Hudson River and the New Jersey Palisades, a wild garden, an aquatic and monocot garden, 10 acres of woodland, and more. The Wave Hill house has been rented by the likes of Theodore Roosevelt and Mark Twain.

Enjoy a beer at the Bohemian Hall & Beer Garden. Opened in 1910, the Bohemian Hall is now the last original beer garden in all of NYC. The garden offers beers from the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain and the United State of America. While you're fueling up on delicious brews, try something from the menu; the hall serves Czech and Slovakian cuisine and some American favorites.

Watch the New York Knicks hit the court at the world-famous Madison Square Garden. This renown NBA franchise has made it to the playoffs approximately 39 times. Despite their numerous playoff appearances, the sports team has only won the NBA finals twice, both times defeating the Los Angeles Lakers.
